Here is some of what you can expect to find rock climbing in Lamoille Canyon!!!

Lamoille Canyon
This is the top of Lamoille Canyon in the early spring. The
scenery is beautiful and this is a great spot to stop
if you are on your climbing trip between the Sierra's and
the Wasatch mountains. Lamoille canyon is only 3 hours away
from both mountain ranges and 2 1/2 hours from the City of Rocks in Southern Idaho.

Lamoille Canyon - Dead Snag Wall
Dead Snag Wall is one of the popular walls in Lamoille Canyon. Lots of face climbing as well as some trad routes along with
great views of the canyon and lots of exposure make this a wall
not to miss. Only 5 minutes from camping in the canyon!

Tough climbs like this route on Sport Rock are less than a minute walk from the parking area.

Bombay Crack on Sport Rock is still unclimbed and being worked by guide book author Ken Hirst in this photo.

5th Street Crag
5th Street Crag is located north of Elko, Nevada. This type
of rock can only be found in a few places in the United States.
The rock resembles the same type of rock formations found in
Maple Canyon, Utah.

Lamoille Canyon Ice Climb - Scout Camp
This is the Scout Camp ice formation which forms every year
in Lamoille Canyon. The ice is over 100 feet tall and as vertical
as it gets! Fixed protection at the top makes it a great place for
the beginning ice climber to top rope. The ice is usually 3 to 10
feet thick depending on the conditions which makes it a great
place for lead climbing as well.
